On Purpose, for a Purpose

“Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.” —Esther 4:14

As you look at what’s going on in the world, have you ever wondered what you could possibly do to help change things for the better? To help change things for God?

Esther was in a similar position. Though she was queen, she was subject to the moods of a volatile husband. Trying to save her people could cost her life.

But Mordecai pointed out that perhaps God had put her there for this exact purpose. He was saying it wasn’t by chance Esther was where she was at that time and place. And it’s the same for you. You’re not in the position you are in by accident. God has a job with your name on it. You may think, I don’t have a position of influence. It’s all I can do to survive. I’m just trying to keep my head above water.

Look beyond the boundaries of your kingdom. God has put you here, for such a time as this, with an incredible opportunity to represent Him and His kingdom.
