We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. —Romans 8:28
It’s not wrong to ask why, but are you asking with an attitude that puts conditions on God— that if He doesn’t give you an explanation, you won’t love, trust, and obey Him? Or are you asking with a heart that wants to know anything He wants to show you but is also willing to live with mystery and unanswered questions?
You can choose to struggle and strive with the doubts and unknowns of life. Or you can trust that the Lord is God and you are not. You can accept that the riches of His knowledge and wisdom are too great for you. They are unsearchable.
We can’t know God’s mind, and He doesn’t owe us any explanations. Can you choose today to rest in the mystery? Whatever God is doing in your life, in this situation, He has a purpose. You can trust that He is working all things for your good and His glory.

Make it Personal
Ask God to help you be content with things that are “too high” for you and to trust Him to work out His perfect will.
