Checking In with the 30-Day Challengers

Time really does fly. Not long ago we were all singing "Auld Lang Syne" and ushering in a new year. But unbelievably, one-twelfth of 2015 is already under our belts. I know your heart may already be shifting from New Year’s resolutions to the holiday of love on February 14th. We'll get there. You'll see lots of posts about guys, love, and romance this month on the blog. In fact, here's a sneak peak at the titles of some of our upcoming posts . . .

  • How to Handle Your First Real Heartbreak
  • Contentment Like a Ghettomobile
  • Christ or Crush?

We will also be giving away some great swag designed to help you understand God's plan for romantic love. But . . . I don't want to shift our focus to candy hearts and red roses before checking in with those of you who committed to starting the year by reading the Bible every day for 30 days. More than 60 of you agreed to the challenge, and I want to hear from you. Whether you hit it out of the park and read your Bible every single day of the new year or struggled to find time to regularly read God's Word, I want you to know that reading the Bible matters. It's so much more than just a book! It's the living Word of God. You won't do it perfectly (neither will I), but if we continue to make God's Word a priority, it will make a difference in our lives. Because I want to encourage you to continue to dig into your Bibles every day this year, I'm giving away some swag to keep you motivated.
