"I'm Not the Woman I Was Ten Years Ago"

This month we’ve been celebrating God’s incredible faithfulness to us from the day Revive Our Hearts began over ten years ago on September 3, 2001. And we’re asking and believing Him to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think in the next ten years, as we continue to call women to freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ. Women like this, who we heard from this month:

I would be remiss not to thank you for the impact your ministry has had on me. A few years back, I was caught in an adulterous affair. I was the ‘other woman.’ After being locked in a little over a year, I sent an email to Revive Our Hearts asking for prayer and advice. A wonderful woman emailed me back an encouraging email—not condemning or justifying—and sent me some reading material.

Her words, the material, and ROH have been inspirational in my total deliverance from that situation. Now, when I thought I could never be worthy to be anyone’s wife, God has not only blessed me to become a wife, but a minister’s wife at that. God has cleaned up my life (and is still working on me) and has given me a committed heart to my husband, in spite of all the odds. ROH has been inspirational in teaching me how to go from being the ‘other woman’ to a ‘holy wife.’ I am so grateful to you. I now appreciate the saying ‘You can’t turn a whore into a housewife’ because it’s so true. We can’t, but God can!! And He has! God bless ROH!”

As this month draws to a close, we would be remiss not to thank you for the ways you’ve partnered with us—praying for us; giving generously; internalizing, modeling, and spreading the message of revival and biblical womanhood. Thank you!

Just for fun, meet some of the listeners, readers, ministry partners, and True Woman conference speakers as they wish ROH a happy tenth anniversary. Then, see how well you know Revive Our Hearts by playing our game show video. Answer a total of six questions, and meet Tom, Jessie, Debbie, Liz, Gayle, and Dawn in the process. Then, let me know how many questions you got right—just leave a comment below.
