I have prayed for discernment and understanding in all sorts of situations. But it wasn't until I combined praying with filling, saturating, and building my mind with the Word of God that discernment began to take root and grow in me. I've had to, as Proverbs 2:3–5 tells us, "cry" for discernment and understanding and "seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures."
