Two Transformational Marriage Tools

Revive Our Hearts’ 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge
We have been astonished at the transformation God has brought about in marriages around the world through this one seemingly “small” exercise. If you haven’t yet taken this 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge—or even if you have—would you ask God if He’d like you to commit to encouraging your husband for the next 30 days? Oh, I can’t wait to hear what God does in you and in your marriage as a result! Here’s a testimony from just one of the over 12,000 women who have signed up for this challenge:

Wow! I have just completed the 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge and it has been such a tremendous blessing to my heart and our marriage. I cannot overstate what an impact it has made on my attitude. Before taking the challenge, I didn't realize how little I had been truly encouraging my husband. Since taking the challenge the Lord showed me that I have really been taking for granted the blessing that my husband is. I have been in humble and sweet repentance for 30 days, Nancy. I have seen with my own eyes the countenance of my husband getting brighter and he is growing more confident in his leading with each day. Thank you for this challenge. I have fallen in love with my man all over again. I'm going to sign up for another 30 days!

Family Life’s Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference
Although I haven’t personally attended one of these conferences, I have heard nothing but good from my married friends who have attended. In fact, here’s one woman’s testimony:

Jeff and I would really like to thank you for making it possible for us to attend the Weekend to Remember. I was glad we were there, but Jeff wasn’t really into it until one of the speakers said “You know, the devil’s not just after your marriage, he’s after your children—and your grandchildren.” That statement hit him like a ton of bricks, and caused him to start paying more attention.

During ‘Date Night,’ we worked on our homework assignment while Jeff relaxed with a beer. After going out to smoke, Jeff came back in to the room and said ‘Come here, we’re going to play a game.’ As I walked over Jeff pulled the rest of the beer out of the fridge. He sat down on the side of the tub and begun to pour the beer into the toilet and said “I pour out my selfishness.” I wasn’t sure what was happening and he took out another—“I pour out my pride,” then “I pour out my anger,” and “I pour out my self-centeredness,” and finally “I pour out my desire for beer.” By this time, we were both in tears. Jeff stood up and cried out to God, ‘I’m an alcoholic and a sinner and I need Jesus to forgive me.’ We cried and prayed together as he gave himself completely to the Lord.

The Weekend to Remember was the event that God used to change Jeff’s heart and as a result, our marriage and our future! How could we ever forget that?!”
