“Remember this day when you came out of Egypt, out of the place of slavery, for the Lord brought you out of here by the strength of his hand.” —Exodus 13:3
I don’t consider myself a great communicator, but I love writing. It helps to organize my thoughts. Therefore, from the beginning of my walk with the Lord, it became easy for me to keep a record of my pilgrimage.
We’re so easily distracted that we tend to forget the blessings, experiences, and even burdens of the previous week. We tend to forget and overlook those small, tender mercies and answered prayers. We forget the situations that have stopped worrying us.
It shouldn’t be surprising that Moses continually reminded the Israelites of their history and again and again recalled the ways in which God delivered them at every opportunity.
