The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever. Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure dwellings. —Isaiah 32:17–18
Willard Wigan is a British sculptor who carves miniature works of art from grains of sand or granules of sugar, often setting his master- pieces in the eye of a needle or on the head of a pin. Using tools like paintbrushes made from a human eyelash, he painstakingly fashions complex designs only able to be viewed through a microscope.
His amazing craftsmanship is a reminder that little things can make a stunning impact—little things like your home. Your home may seem tiny and insignificant in the grand scheme. And yet it can make a loud statement about the gospel you believe and the God you serve.
Your home matters. Whether you’re married or single, whether it’s a palatial mansion or a prison cell, whether you live on one side of a dorm room or in a double-wide trailer—God can transform any place you live into a “miniature masterpiece” that points people to His amazing artistry.
Make it Personal
Ask God to show you how to put Him on display through your home.
