“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” —2 Corinthians 12:9
As a child of God, you’ll never face a circum- stance that exceeds His grace. Where sin abounds, His grace abounds more. When you are weak, He is strong. When you are empty, He is full. When you can’t, He still can.
Whatever you’re going through now, His “grace is sufficient for you.” And whatever you’ll go through tomorrow, next year, or fifty years from now, His grace will be sufficient for you then too.
His grace is sufficient for a single mother trying to raise four children or a divorced dad trying to salvage a relationship with his kids. His grace is sufficient for the parents of three toddlers—or three teenagers. His grace is sufficient for the person caring for elderly parents, for the empty nester, for the widow living on Social Security, and for the invalid in a nursing home.
We need to keep speaking this truth to ourselves and reminding those around us of its eternal reality. In every season, in every circumstance, His grace is sufficient. For you. And for me.
