“I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly.” —Isaiah 57:15
What has you worn out? What has you in a place where you are at the end of your rope, at the end of your hope?
Jesus wants to give you revival as deeply as you want it and need it. He did it for me. A few years ago when I was worn out because of some sin in my life, He revived my heart. He returned joy to my heart and to some relationships that were being tested by my condition—and He wants to do that for you.
But in order to experience this revival, I had to ask myself a question. It’s the question you need to ask yourself, too. “What kind of heart does God choose to revive?” The answer is found in Isaiah 57:15.
He will come to revive you if you are humble! Today, choose to put aside any pride in your heart and experience the joy-filled life He longs to give.
Make it Personal
Ask God to examine your heart for any signs of pride, and then come before Him in confession and humility.
