But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” —2 Corinthians 12:9
Do you ever have one of those days when it feels like it’s been a full week and then you realize it’s only Tuesday?
I’ve definitely experienced times like this. I have fibromyalgia and, physically, there are weeks that are not so good for me. I feel like I need to get this done and do that thing, but I just can’t because I’m in pain.
It’s during these times the Lord makes me pause and realize that His grace is sufficient and that my need for Him is continuous, not just spiritually but in every facet of life. I need to spend time in God’s Word, just soaking in the Truth of Scripture. That’s how the Lord strengthens me and reminds me, “I’ve got you, girl, and we will walk this out one moment at a time. Stop trying to bite off two weeks from now, two months from now. Just be here in the moment.”
