Say Yes!

“See, I am the Lord’s servant,” said Mary. “May it happen to me as you have said.” —Luke 1:38

While we may desire to live as a true woman for God, it’s important to realize it’s impossible to do so apart from having a personal relationship with Christ and having His Spirit living within you. Apart from Him, you may strive and struggle to gain His favor; you may be able to conform to some external standard— but you will never have the grace and power you need to be the woman He designed you to be, from the inside out.

In the end, saying yes to Jesus is what true womanhood is all about. As you go throughout your day today, I hope you will marvel, embrace, and delight in God’s spectacular plan and discover the beauty, joy, and fulfillment of being exactly who He created you to be.

God wants you to be so much more than what the world upholds as the ideal. He wants you to be a true woman—a woman who by His grace patterns your life according to His grand, interior design for your life.
