Cultural winds are blowing hard against the Church today. Unfortunately, some believers are no longer defining truth by God’s Word but by what society calls "good." How do you learn to discern what is true, and how do you share that truth wisely and winsomely in your own sphere of influence?

Janet Parshall highlights God's faithfulness in this breakout session, beginning with a look at Father Abraham's life.
God asks Abraham to sacrifice his one and only, precious son Isaac. It doesn't make sense. Abraham knows he's supposed to have descendants that are more numerous than the stars of the heaven. He's over 100. His wife was a medical miracle, and she's past the age where she should be able to conceive.

Janet encourages, "The only thing Abraham was hanging onto is the only thing you and I hang onto in the midst of really tough circumstances. God is good all the time. God can be trusted all the time. God is faithful all the time.
Listen to this message by Janet to not only hear Abraham's story, but also Moses' mother's story, Horatio Spafford's story, and John Harper's story.
As Janet summarizes, "The human experience in a nutshell is that you are either about to step into the refiner's fire, you're already in the refiner's fire, or you've just stepped out of the refiner's fire. That's it. That's the rhythm of life. One of those three spots."
That's why, if we're going to thrive, we must learn to surrender to God, because we can trust Him, because He is faithful.
