The True Woman Movement is a worldwide, grassroots movement that went public on October 11, 2008, as over 6,000 women gathered in Chicago, Illinois, for the first True Woman Conference hosted by Revive Our Hearts. Since that watershed moment, Revive Our Hearts conferences have been attended by women with a desire to:

The seeds for the True Woman movement were planted in Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth's heart as she read about the historical development of secular and religious feminism in Mary Kassian's book, The Feminist Mistake. When Nancy realized the powerful lies that had been foisted on an entire generation, the pervasiveness of feminist thinking in our culture, and the extent to which Christian women have bought into the philosophy, she began to ask:
If a handful of women have succeeded by their writings and influence in destroying and brainwashing an entire generation with their godless philosophies, what could God do with a handful of women who were determined to reclaim surrendered ground?
What started as a single event attended by thousands has grown into a countercultural movement of women around the world. We've seen God reclaim surrendered ground in countless lives and believe He’s still at work transforming women’s hearts and minds through His Word.
