Dannah Gresh: What does the phrase “o  ur anchor holds” mean to you? Here’s how Jeannette and Kendra answered.

Kendra: I think of God as our anchor, and I think of an anchor being something that no matter how much turbulence there is, He can’t be moved, therefore I can’t be moved. So I think of an eternal steady, and I thank God for that because I'm not a steady person. When He’s my anchor, I hold onto His steadiness.

Jeannette: The word "security" is the first thing Kendra was talking about. I think about in James where it talks about being blown and tossed by every wind of doctrine and being double-minded. I think a lot of about that. Do I trust God? Or do I trust myself and the world? So when I think about that anchor, I think about security in those waves and tempests and trials …
