Randy Alcorn: God’s grace is the lightning, and our giving is the thunder in response to the lightning. The lightning comes first. “We love because He first loved us.” We give because He first gave to us. That’s what grace is. So it’s in light of His indescribable gift to us that we joyfully give to others. That’s part of being Christlike.
