A Little Thing
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Sometimes God deals with us over issues that may seem insignificant. For example, I heard about a woman who went into a supermarket and asked forgiveness for keeping money when the store had undercharged her. God had been visiting her church in revival, and she was convicted that this was actually stealing.
The worker laughed and said, “You’re the seventh person who’s been in here this morning.” God was definitely doing something in the lives of His people.
Can you imagine if those of us who sit in church on Sunday mornings would go into the community on Monday mornings making things right? If we were truly to clear our consciences and reconcile our relationships, we would be showing the power of the gospel.
Is there something in your life that needs to be dealt with? Maybe you’re thinking, "It was just some small change. What will people think?" They may just think that God is real and alive in your life.
With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
