Dannah Gresh: This is Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, co-author of You Can Trust God to Write Your Story.

Nancy: In the Bible, a young Jewish woman named Esther, was forced to marry a heavy-drinking, easily angered, power-crazed king. He issued a foolish edict that threatened Esther’s people with annihilation. She couldn’t have been in worse circumstances!

But in the midst of the darkness, God was still in control. You see, Heaven rules! In the end, God used Esther’s seemingly hopeless circumstances to carry out His plan to deliver His people.

No matter how dark your circumstances, you can know this: Nothing that happens to you—no matter how wicked or painful—is a surprise to God.

You can trust Him to write your story in whatever situation you’re facing today.
