Great Memory
Man: I’ve got to look up the Davison’s number.
Woman: Oh, I know it. It’s 333-36 . . .
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: We memorize all the time.
Woman: So if you take I-630 to exit 41, then turn left at Dippy Burgers . . .
Nancy: We remember information that we use or think about a lot.
Man: No, that movie was directed by Frank Capra. It came before It’s a Wonderful Life.
Nancy: So, why does it seem so hard to memorize the most important things?
Woman: Oh, I’m so bad at memorizing Scripture.
Man: Yeah, I just can’t remember it.
Nancy: Memorizing the Word of God will cleanse and renew your mind. It’ll help keep you from sin. It’ll help you say no to your flesh, and it will protect you from wrong thinking patterns. You can memorize more than you realize.
Man: Okay, I’ll quiz you first. Let me hear it.
Woman: Psalm 119:97. "Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.”
