Hurt and Angry

Man: When I think back to what my boss did to me—it may have been ten years ago, but I just get all worked up.

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: When we’ve been hurt, it’s natural to stay angry for a long time.

Man: I just can’t get it out of my mind. It still makes me mad.

Nancy: But God’s love is supernatural. Our sin has hurt Him deeply, but listen to these words from Micah 7:18–19:

Man: “You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”

Nancy: Wow! When I think of how much God has forgiven me, how can I refuse to forgive others?

Why not spend some time today thinking about the amazing forgiveness of God?
