Precious Cells
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Before she knew better, Rosaria Butterfield used to rationalize and excuse her pro-abortion opinions.
Rosaria Butterfield: Why bring “unwanted children” into the world? They are vulnerable to abuse and poverty and starvation. And that is much worse than being killed in the womb. And it’s interesting that we actually did see it as killing. It wasn’t that we didn’t.
Nancy: Contrast that with what she believes now: the Bible’s perspective. That even a newly-conceived baby has value in God’s eyes.
Rosaria: Those couple of cells are as precious to Him as the most accomplished physician!
Nancy: The Scripture says that God knit us together in our mothers’ wombs and that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (see Ps. 139:13–16). Let us praise Him for the amazing gift of life.
