The Master Instructor

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: I started taking piano lessons when I was four years old. My teacher knew a lot. But then I got to college and worked with teachers who had even more knowledge.

And then, occasionally, the university would bring in a master teacher. This special guest would explain things he had learned over many years of study and performance.

Do you realize that there’s a master teacher who wants to give you private instruction? When we sit down to study the Word of God, we are engaging with the greatest, most brilliant Teacher ever.

In Colossians 2, Paul prays for believers, that we may know Christ "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (v. 3).

Are you spending time gaining treasures of wisdom and knowledge? Have you met with your Master Teacher today? What a great privilege it is to get lessons from Him.
