Two Powerful Words

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: There’s a lot of power in two little words: “Yes, Lord.”

When I was first challenged to start a daily radio program for women, I had a lot of objections. I’d been traveling for twenty years in ministry, and I was ready to slow down. But from the time I was a little girl, I had realized that my life wasn’t my own. It belonged to Him. So I finally said, “Yes, Lord.” God gave me faith that He would help me with this new calling, even though I felt so inadequate. Less than a year later, the radio program Revive Our Hearts was on the air.

God’s call in your life will look different from mine. But regardless of the details, He simply asks that we bow before Him and say, “Yes, Lord.” Why not try saying those two little words to Him right now?
