Walking in the Spirit
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: In the book of Ephesians, Paul tells us to be filled with the Spirit, and then he describes what that looks like in everyday life. It affects the way we worship.
Woman: “Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Nancy: It affects our relationships.
Man: “Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Nancy: Our marriages.
Woman: “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.”
Man: “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church.”
Nancy: Our parent-child relationships.
Man: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
Nancy: It makes a difference in the workplace.
Woman: “Not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ.”
Nancy: Would you ask God to fill you with His Spirit today? It will transform everything!
