Word In, Word Out
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”
Mary’s song of praise in Luke chapter 1 is one of my favorite passages in the Scripture. It’s remarkable because Mary, though young, uneducated, and probably illiterate, was a woman of the Word. In fact, in the few lines that make up the song of Mary, we see as many as fifteen Old Testament references. She was not only familiar with God’s Word, she loved it! When she opened her mouth to speak to the Lord in prayer and praise, what came out was Scripture.
If you and I are going to be used of God in our generation, we’ve got to saturate our hearts and our minds with His Word. We have to know it, live it, breathe it, speak it. Word in, Word out. It’s a vital part of "Seeking Him." I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
