Sacrificing a Dream

Sydel Perez from the Dominican Republic had dreamed of being a physician since she was five years old. But over time, God put a different call on her heart—to stay at home and focus on being a wife and mother. Sydel wanted to follow His leading, but she didn’t know how. She had no role models of what biblical womanhood looked like. Then she found Revive Our Hearts. Through this ministry, Sydel has learned what it means to embrace God’s calling for each season of her life; she’s discovered the grace and tools she needs to live out biblical truth on a day-to-day basis. Today, Sydel is joyfully investing in her husband and children for God’s glory.
